People and doggies connect with PVM at Art, Bark, ‘n Brew event

As a Gold Lever sponsor, Purdue Veterinary Medicine hosted an exhibit at the Art, Bark, ‘n Brew Festival at the Grand Lafayette Art Museum which drew a crowd of people and dogs on Saturday September 11 in the museum parking lot. .

The PVM booth, run by Kelly Dold, Marketing and Communications Manager, featured artistic activities, including opportunities to decorate PVM dog bandanas.

“Come. Sit. Stay.” That was the fun motto of a festive outdoor event called ‘Art, Bark,’ n Brew ‘which was held in good weather on Saturday September 11th at the Art Museum of Greater Lafayette, with Purdue University College. of Veterinary Medicine in gold. Level sponsor. People and dogs were invited to the event, which included live music by the Fergus Daly Band, puppy-friendly activities at stalls set up by several organizations, including the College of Veterinary Medicine, and the EMT Food Truck and the Thieme & Wagner brewery. , which provided food and beer. Natalie’s Second Chance Dog Shelter was also on site with adoptable dogs.

The popular event was well attended by children and adults as well as many well behaved pooches. As a sponsor, the College of Veterinary Medicine received an important mention in promotional material for the event as well as prime booth space. Kelly Dold, the new Director of Marketing and Communications for Purdue University Veterinary Hospital and Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory, organized and hosted the booth, which featured a table with informational and promotional items as well as than dog bowls and scarves that kids could decorate with markers. The PVM exhibition was a success with young artists and puppies! Visitors to the booth included several PVM employees and students. Thanks to everyone who stopped by and to Kelly and her husband Chris for setting up and taking down the booth.
