Bahati & Frey’s Place provides health and wellness opportunities for puppies and their loved ones.

Bahati and Frey’s Place, named after two shelter dogs who left a lasting impression on Ochs, is designed to help pet owners overcome these obstacles.

Canine care and compassion

The AKC Certified Fit Dog Club offers a variety of training and enrichment options ranging from puppy classes to specialty training. Dog daycare is a fun experience that includes swimming, nose work, and agility activities. There’s even a ball pit for dogs.

“My vision was to create a place that will make a difference,” Ochs said.

Yappy Hours are a time for tunneling, swimming, digging, dogfishing and bubbles, all designed to boost confidence levels. On some nights they even have bouncy castles and bouncy castles for the dogs.

“There’s nothing like it in the area,” Ochs said.

And happy dog - happy owner, but there are also a lot of fun activities for humans.

Family fun and fitness

Zumba on Saturdays will be a new fall offering at Bahati & Frey’s that includes an upbeat hour-long Zumba class while your four-legged friend enjoys enrichment and socializing up close.

“You don’t have to feel guilty about letting your dog go to training,” Ochs said. “You both can exercise.”

If you prefer a walk, pack walks are group walks where people and puppies can socialize.

Movie and game nights allow families to entertain children and dogs. Enjoy movies for the whole family – complete with popcorn – or try your hand at board or card games while your dog has his own play date.
